Free from bitter or burned taste Free from poisonous compounds, minerals and another toxic substances. Added salt if any max 2% PH value 4.5 PCT Max Acidity 10 PCT Max (Citric acid on dry basis) Howard mould count 60 Max Color A/B min 2.10 per Gardner system at 12.5 BRIX standard style Total lactic acid max 2 gram per kg of tomato paste Sugar coefficient min 42 PCT Volatile acidity max 0.40 PCT on dry substance. Paste should not exceed 90% of tin capacity. Tomato paste to be preserved by thermal process in tight double seamed cans of electrolytic tinplate, manufactured with the soudranic process, inside coating with white lacquering 11-14 gram per sq mtr dry epoxy, hygienically fit for food stuff preservation.
